The Grant Program Application
Our annual Grant Program supports local organizations or initiatives which provide recreational opportunities to the Mad River Valley community.
In any given year the Mad River Valley Recreation District gets requests for about twice the amount of funding that is available. Applications for grant funding are due on November 1st and decisions are announced in late January. In rare situations, when there is available funding the Mad River Valley Recreation District Board will consider grant requests that come in off-cycle (after November 1). Please plan accordingly, knowing that the chances of getting funded are greater if your application is submitted by November 1.
